Sanded smooth, burnished and finished with food safe mineral oil.

Wood care:
Clean the scoop with a dry cloth or if needed with lukewarm, soapy water and rinse clean. Do not place it in the dishwasher.
Wipe away any excess water and stand up or hang to dry.
Oil once a month or whenever it looks dry. You can use whichever food safe mineral oil you prefer. The oil will prolong the life of the scoop.
